In France, it's all about the food. Now granted, almost every country says this about themselves, but in terms of history and cuisine and expertise, the French win. Their food is incredible and the are proud to chat about it. French cuisine has transformed the world's eating habits and has introduced westerners to the concept of fishing a slimy, garlic snail body out of shell and popping into their mouths for real enjoyment. They have given us incredible cheeses, a million ways to make eggs, and delicious sauces that will make your toes curl they are so good. Lunch or dinner, both meals are an odd number of courses, 3, 5, 7, maybe more. Always with wine, multiple glasses of wine.
