It’s been a while since we’ve posted a blog, but that doesn’t mean we have been idle, here at MarnaMaria. On the contrary, MarnaMaria has big plans – and a little sister. Yes, Kailua Seasoning Company is our new line of specialty Hawaiian Island seasonings!
Many of you may know we are based on the island of O’ahu in Hawaii, and those traditional Hawaiian flavors have inspired a whole new collection!
First of all, for you fans of specialty salts: we have a gorgeous collection – not just tasty but beautiful as well! Our salts come from the island of Molokai and they are really extraordinary! Our Hawaiian Red Alaea Salt adds stunning color to eggs! And our Hawaiian Black Salt is infused with coconut charcoal, adding real drama to all your favorite dishes. What about Hawaiian Black salt on white chocolate truffles? And if you can’t decide which color, our Rainbow Salt is pretty as a picture, and makes a wonderful gift!
But, we haven’t forgotten our blends! Our current favorite is Aloha Smoke Spice – a delightful blend of salty, smoky and chili! Open a jar and let your imagination soar! Devilled eggs look dashing and spicy with a sprinkle! Treat it just like salt – only better! Island Stir Fry adds ginger, garlic and loads of Asian flair to most anything. And our Hawaiian Seasoning is a little sweet, a little salty, a little ginger-y and a LOT delicious! It enhances most everything. Fish, chicken, vegetables; you name it!
