Spanish Hot Chocolate

Spanish Hot Chocolate

The secret to this blend is truly in its history. Surely you have had hot chocolate before but we are certain that you have never had anything like this. This recipe was a carefully guarded secret among doctors and the rich in New Spain, over 300 years ago!

The Spanish have not lost their touch for fun and delicious food even as time has passed. In a culture that revolves around eating late and having fun, late night (or should we say morning) snacks are almost a food group in themselves.

One staple food of that group are authentic Spanish Churros and Spaniards are often found them eating after a night at the club. It’s out for tapas at 10 or 11pm, have a drink, hit the club, then come home around 7 or 8am and finish out the night (or morning for that matter) with a fresh batch of churros with chocolate sauce.

If churros are not your cup of tea, be sure to try our Spanish Hot Chocolate Blend with milk. It’s great for enjoying the traditional hot chocolate beverage that we think of when we hear the name hot chocolate.
